The REV-1.5E is Huawei's flagship REV commercial series and the successor to the REH-1.5E we've sold for years, which it replaces as remaining stock sells through. It's the same 1.5hp output class doing the same job — continuous-duty inflation for medium-to-large inflatables, including constant-air cinema screens, and rapid inflation of sealed screens — but the newer design draws 1260W against the REH's 1800W. That's less load on event power circuits with nothing given up in output.
Developed for the European and American markets, the REV series carries UL, CE and CB certification and upgraded safety protection over the earlier REH design. The motor is stable across a wide working-voltage range, and the blower runs from any standard Australian outlet — a 5 m cord with a 10A plug on 220–240V 50Hz.
At 10.7kg net the REV-1.5E is 4.4kg lighter than the blower it replaces. The hollow blow-moulded shell has an optimised air intake and stacks up to 4 units high for transport and storage, and built-in cable-winding keeps the 5 m cord tidy between events.
With 1600 Pa of pressure and 610 m³/h of airflow, the REV-1.5E suits inflatables of 20–30 m³ — the medium-to-large bracket that covers most constant-air cinema screens, where the blower runs for the whole screening. For bigger structures, step up to the 2hp REV-2E.
Same 1.5hp output class, same duties — the REV-1.5E replaces the REH-1.5E as our stock of the older model sells through. The difference is the design: it draws 1260W where the REH drew 1800W, weighs 10.7kg instead of 15.1kg, stacks up to 4 high for transport, winds its own cord, and carries UL, CE and CB certification.
It's rated for inflatables of 20–30 m³ — the medium-to-large bracket that covers most constant-air cinema screens, and it will rapidly inflate sealed screens too. If your structure is larger than 30 m³, the 2hp REV-2E is the right blower.
Yes — it's a continuous-duty commercial blower, and running all night is exactly how constant-air screens work: the blower stays on for the whole screening. At 1260W it draws roughly half of a standard 240V 10A circuit, which leaves headroom for the rest of your AV kit on site power.
