Frequently asked questions

What size screen do I need for my audience?

Those crowd figures are a comfortable guide — Standard 3m–6m suits up to around 500 and the large "Mattress" 8m–12m up to around 2,000 — but the right size really depends on your seating and sightlines. Going a size bigger than the crowd strictly needs makes for a far more impressive, cinematic night; the only trade-off is a heavier setup that needs a little more crew to stand up. We'll help you weigh the wow factor against the logistics.

Is the PRO upgrade worth it?

For most events, yes. PRO steps up to a brighter, higher-resolution projector (and bigger sound) for a sharper, punchier picture — and, just as usefully, it holds up earlier in the evening, so you can start the film before it's fully dark rather than waiting on the sunset. Standard is a great fit for after-dark screenings up to around 500.

Can you customise a screen for us?

Absolutely — and well beyond branding or logos. We can tailor the dimensions (right up to 20m wide), add extra anchor points for exposed or windy sites, and configure the package around your venue and how you run it. Tell us what you're picturing and we'll spec it.
